This image shows a portion of a German-language baptism certificate for Wilhelm Brockmeier, the son of Mr. Karl August Brockmeier and his wife, Magdelena "Lina" neé Thoma. Wilhelm was born on 25 November 1894 at St. Louis, Missouri. He was baptized on 20 January 1895 in the first German evangelical Lutheran Trinity Church.
C. J. Otto Hanser was the evangelical Lutheran pastor who officiated.
Anna Maria Thoma, the child's maternal grandmother, and Mathilda Brockmeier, his aunt, signed the baptism certificate as witnesses.
Rev. Hanser also officiated at Karl and Lina's marriage in 1890.
