Notes

The Application for Administration was a pre-printed form. I have used italics to indicate the handwritten information added to the form.

Probate Court documents show that George J. Gerber posted a security bond of $6,000; Eggert Arp, a bond of $500; and Charles Bruns, a bond of $2,000.

John P. W. Thul, Jacob B. Decker and H. J. Hilsdorf provided an appraisal of the personal estate of August Etling.
