Mrs. Katherine Fiegenbaum
Mrs. John (Katherine) Fiegenbaum, 87, died Aug. 7, 1985 at the Meyer Care Center. She was born May 25, 1898 at Wellington, the daughter of John William Maun and Dorothea Block. On May 24, 1924 she married John Henry Fiegenbaum, he preceded her in death on June 11, 1981.
Mrs. Fiegenbaum had lived in the Mayview and Higginsville communities all her life. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ of Mayview.
Visitation was Friday, Aug. 9 at the Wiegers Funeral Home. The funeral service was at the Zion United Church of Christ in Mayview, Saturday, Aug. 10, 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Deborah Kaiser-Cross officiating. Burial was in the Zion Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Henry M. Fiegenbaum of Mayview, J. W. Fiegenbaum of South Hodley [sic], Mass.; one daughter Mrs. Dorothy Riekhof of Higginsville; one sister, Mrs. Emma Tempel of Higginsville; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Zion Church Memorial Fund or the Emmaus Home at Marthasville, Mo.
