St Coll, Ames; m Edith Louise Krueger Aug 2, 1916 LaCrosse Kas; s Temple Wade; 1910 emp Homestake Mining Co, Spearfish S D; 1913 retd to Wymore; 1914 mgr of father's land holdings in Okla; 1915 salesman Eckdall & McCarty Store, Emporia Kas; 1916 with father & brother in Julius Neumann Co, Wymore, 1923 became pres; 2nd VP Wymore Comml Club; ofcl bd mbr Meth Ch; hobbies, gardening, fishing, photography.  Father pioneer, came to Wymore about time town was founded & estab Neumann & Winter Merc Store which later became Julius Neumann Co, also oprd flour mill & built & oprd first creamery in Wymore; Mrs Neumann is a poet & composer & gives musical readings, several songs published, also composed music for "In Flanders Fields;" res 113 N 10th, Wymore.
