Biographical sketch of the "Erdman Brothers." Submitted by Ruth (Moore) Hader and Roger Erdman. William Erdman and his older brother August Erdman emigrated to the Missouri in the 1850s. They settled first in Gasconade County, where August married Johannah Briepohl. Later, when August and his family settled near Alma in Lafayette County, William moved west with them.
