In her will of February 1911, Margaretha Etling made a bequest to "the grand children of my Deceased Son Louis Etling." August, Charlotte, Louis, Martha, Florence and George each received $5.00 dollars. She made a similar bequest to "the grand children of my deceased Daughter Kathrinne [sic] my eldest daughter..." The names which follow this statement appear to be, on the basis of other sources, the children of Katherine, not her grandchildren. They are Margaretha's grandchildren. I believe the same error has been made in the identification of Louis' "grandchildren." I believe these are actually his children and have entered them here as such. This matter requires additional research and confirmation.
