Census:
The identity of this child as the same Heinrich enumerated in the 1860 U.S. census is problematic.
     Heinrich Louis Maun's date of birth on 11 April 1861 is clearly indicated by the published baptismal and burial records from the archives of the evangelical church at Femme Osage, Missouri. It would therefore be impossible for him to have been counted as a member of the household in 1860.
     The appearance of a 1 year old child by the name of Heinrich in the 1860 census would suggest the possibility that Wilhelm and Maria Agnes had a son born sometime about 1858-1859. There is no evidence of such an event in the published records of the Femme Osage church.
     Alternately, the Heinrich counted in the census might be the son of a relative, temporarily residing with Wilhelm and Maria Agnes. Not enough of this line of the genealogy is known at this time to evaluate this possibility.
     The resolution of this problem of identity awaits further research.

According to the published burial record from the archives of the evangelical church at Femme Osage, Heinrich was 1 year, 3 months, 14 days old at the time of his death.

In the census, two families are listed as sharing the same dwelling. One family consists of Wm. Moun [sic], age 25, born in Pennsylvania and Margaret Moun, age 6 months, born in Missouri. The other family is John W. Tweehouse [sic], age 56, a farmer and Mariah A. Tweehouse [sic], age 21; both were born in Germany. This is a curious enumeration in light of the evidence of Wilhelm and Maria's marriage and church records of their two eldest children.

Maria was born 3 Sep 1825, Westerkappeln, Province of Westphalia, Kingdom of Prussia; died 23 Jan 1899, Washington, Franklin County, Missouri, USA; was buried , Washington, Franklin County, Missouri, USA.
