    According to the 1900 U.S. enumeration, Henry, a 17 year old cigar maker, lived in the family home on Main Street with his parents, Charles H. Figge, a 45 year old justice of the peace, and Fredericka Figge, age 41, married for 20 years, and his brother, Charles Figge, age 14, a laborer in a cigar manufactory.

    Henry was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery.

    Birth:
    On her marriage license of 1879, her first given name was spelled "Fredericka;" on the marriage license of 1903, the spelling was "Frederike." In other documents it has appeared as "Fredereka," and "Fredricka." I have elected to use the full name as provided on the 1879 marriage license.

    Immigration:
    According to the 1900 U.S. census, Fredericka had been in the USA for 32 years (since 1868). There was no indication that she was a naturalized citizen.

    Died:
    Details of her death are not known at this time, except that she survived her husband's death in February 1931.

         According to the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index, 1763–1900, an online database hosted by the Illinois State Archives, "Charles H. Figge" and "Fredericka Wilhelmine Sophi [sic] Ashauer" received a marriage license in Madison County, Illinois on 28 September 1879 and were married on or about time.
         When enumerated for the 1900 U.S. census, Charles and Fredericka were identified as having been married for 20 years. They were the parents of three children, two of whom were still living.
