Albert Henry Winter, son of Henry Fredrick Christian Winter and Florentine Wilhelmine Fiegenbaum; born 26 November 1891, near Truxton, Missouri. Like all of Henry and Florentine's children, he was born on the family farm "in Camp Branch Township, near Truxton, Missouri" (page 3).

"On August 27, 1875, Henry F. C. Winter and Miss Florentine Fiegenbaum were united in holy matrimony and immediately went to housekeeping on a farm in Camp Branch Township, near Truxton, Missouri, which he had acquired before they were married." Alvina states that all nine of Henry and Florentine's children were born on this farm.

"Am 27. August 1875 verehelichte sie sich mit ihrem nun tiefbetrübten Gattin, Hy. F. C. Winter. Diese Ehe war mit neun Kindern gesegnet." [On the 27th of August 1875 she married her now deeply grieving husband, Hy. F. C. Winter. This marriage was blessed with nine children.].

An application for license to marry (number 521, page 35) filed on 8 August 1914 by Albert H. Winter, of New Truxton, Warren County, Missouri, age 22, and by Miss Mabel W. Canterbury, of New Truxton, Warren County, Missouri, age 25. Miss Mabel W. Canterbury signed an affidavit affirming her age of 25 years.
A marriage license (page 383) issued at Warrenton, Warren County, Missouri on 8 August 1914 to Albert H. Winter, of New Truxton, Warren County, Missouri, who was over the age of 21 years and Miss Mabel W. Canterbury, of New Truxton, Warren County, Missouri, who was over the age of 18 years.
The return certified that William Wilkening, "a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church" and "a resident pastor of the M. E. Church Warrenton Missouri," did marry the above name persons at Warrenton, Warren County, on 8 August 1914. The Certificate of Marriage was filed with the Recorder of Deeds on 22 August 1914.

Albert Henry Winter and Esther Erickson; married 1977. No place given. Albert adopted Esther's twelve year old son, James. No indication whether Erickson is Esther's maiden name or the surname from a first marriage, it there was one.
