"A native of Vienna, Austria, he [Joseph B. Mulach] was born Oct. 26, 1866, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mulach. He was brought by his parents to the United States when an infant of six months."

"Joseph B. Mulach, 91, a resident of Worden area for the past 56 years, died at 6.55 .a.m., today in Community Memorial Hospital, Staunton. He had been ill only a short time and a patient in the hospital since Monday."

"Mr. Mulach was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Worden, and funeral rites Thursday at 1:30 p.m. will be conducted in the church. Burial will be in Worden City Cemetery. The body is at Williamson Funeral Home where friends may call after 1 p.m., Wednesday and until noon Thursday when the body will be taken to the church."

Erna Mulach, daughter of Joseph Mulach and Anna Vogt, was born on 4 October 1909 at Worden, Madison County, Illinois.
