"She did private duty nursing for several years, then became a staff nurse at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, working up to Supervisor, then Assistant Director of Nurses, and is now Director of Social Services at Christian Hospital Northwest in Florissant, Missouri, formerly known as Christian Hospital."

An application for license to marry (number 84, page 288) filed on 7 November 1904 by Louis H. H. Winter, age 28, of Warren County, Missouri, for himself and Miss Allovine [sic] A. Luelf, age 26, of Warren County, Missouri. The recorder also spelled the future bride's surname "Lulfe."
A marriage license issued at Warrenton, Warren County, Missouri on 7 November 1904 to Louis H. H. Winter, of Truxton, Lincoln County, Missouri, who was over the age of 21 years and Miss. Allovine A. Luelf, of Truxton, Lincoln County, Missouri, who was over the age of 18 years.
The return certified that William Wilkening, Pastor, "a minister of the Gospel" did marry the above name persons at New Truxton, Warren County, on 9 November 1904. The Certificate of Marriage was filed with the Recorder of Deeds on 14 November 1904.
