Died at 9:45 p.m. on 18 December 1958 in IOOF Hospital, at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri (inside limits) at the age of 72 years. Length of stay at Liberty, where death occurred: 55 days. His usual residence was Buckner-Tarsney Road, Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri (inside limits; not on a farm). He was married at the time of death to "Bessie C. Knapheide." His usual occupation was "retired Stationary Enginee [sic]" at "Great Lakes Pipe Line Co." He had not served in the U.S. armed forces. He had social security number 487-05-9247. Immediate cause of death was "Coronary Thrombus" (2 1/2 months duration). No autopsy was performed. Burial was to be on 21 December 1958 in "Buckner Cem." at Buckner, Missouri. Knapheide," of Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri, applied for a license to marry "Bessie Katheren [sic] Myers," of Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri, swearing that he was 21 years of age, and that "[future bride's name not repeated]" was 22 years of age, and that both were single, unmarried, and not first cousins and lawfully able to marry. Signed by "Paul W. Knapheide" on 13 November 1907.
Affidavit of Female: This portion of the application was left blank. In its place was a statement by "Willie J. Lane," who swore that "Miss Bessie Katheren [sic] Myers" was personally known to him and that she was of the age of 18 and legally able to marry. This affidavit was signed by "Willie J.
