Father's name: Frederick William Knapheide, born in Warren County, Missouri. Mother's maiden name: Mathilda Schnieder [sic], born in Warren County, Missouri. Died at 4:00 p.m. on 8 December 1941 at 730 North Osage Street, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri at the age of 57 years, 10 months, 24 days. His usual residence was 730 North Osage Street, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri. He had been a resident in the community for 30 years. He was married at the time of death to "Mathilida," age 59. He had been a farmer. Immediate cause of death was "Cerebral Hemorrhage; The 4th one;" (duration of 2 hours). The immediate cause was due to "Cardio-renal disease with hypertension;" (1 year duration). There was no autopsy. Burial was to be at Woodlawn on "11-10-41" [sic]. The funeral director was Ott & Mitchell, of Independence, Missouri. Personal information was provided by Minnie Knapheide, of 730 North Osage Street, Independence, Missouri. C. H. Allen, M.D., of Independence, Missouri, attended the deceased from 18 January 1941 to 8 December 1941 and signed the death certificate on 9 December 1941. The certificate was filed with the local registrar on 10 December 1941.
