Email from Byron H. Nolte to J. Mark Fiegenbaum on 4 September 2005. "Just had a phone call from Laura. She found the record and the grave of Frederick Nolte in the Zion Cemetery, Mayview. The grave stone is not readable and needs to be replaced. The cemetery committe (Mrs. Edward Dickmeyer) has the record for each grave. The record shows that Frederick was born February 22, 1807 in England, died in Mayview on December 5, 1891 and was buried in the Zion Cemetery in a single grave."

If these last two facts are correct as reported, by calculation the date of birth would be 22 February 1807. From sources other than the gravestone inscription, Brunetti noted that Friedrich was born in "Eng." in 1807.
