Mother's maiden name: "Gertrude Keckel;" born in Germany. Died at 3:55 p.m. on 28 November 1912 at 1121 N. 5th Street, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri at the age of 70 years, 6 months, 12 days. He was married at the time of death; name of spouse not provided. His usual occupation was book keeper. Cause of death was "Ulceration of duodenum" (for an "extended period"). Contributory cause of death was "Unknown." Burial or removal was to be on 30 November 1912 in "Ashland Cem." The undertaker was R. Meierhoffer, of 824 Felix. Personal information was provided by Adolph Steinmetz, of 3124 Seneca. H. R. Riemer, M.D., of 322 1/2 Francis had attended the deceased from 13 September 1912 to 28 November 1912 and signed the death certificate on 29 November 1912. The certificate was received by the local registrar on 29 November 1912.
